You should hold shift and click on update not on restore because restore will delete all your data but update don't delete your data but better you backup your device via itune for safty

Nope.

I know how to click shift at the same time because that's what I did.

I have done it twice today just in case I missed something, I clicked shift and update at the same time selected the file, it installs and wipes all of my apps and data, it won't restore from the back up as it won't show even though I know the older back up is there, it only shows me the latest 2 back ups to select from.

It doesn't work, sadly. Still waiting for iFunbox to update their software...

iFunBox updates once per year or so. :3

Still... AnyTrans doesn's allow me to access the 'apps' folder...

No File Manager seems to have that on Non-Jailbroken now.

Apple killed access to it without Jailbreak.

With that being said, a new iFunBox has been released (http://dl.i-funbox.com/)

"Partially fixed the sandbox access restriction applied by the new iOS 8.3. All apps with "iTunes File Sharing" enabled (e.g. iFileExpress, or VLC player) can be opened for sandbox browsing just like before. For the rest, jailbreak is required to enable the sandbox access.

Ringtone import is also enhanced, in this update. besides m4r, now any music files (e.g. mp3) can be imported as ringtone. iFunbox will automatically perform the audio transcoding while importing. Be sure to kill the "Settings" App and open it again so that the newly imported ringtone will appear in the ringtone list."

This is really sad :(

And from what I know, dev teams having hard time jb-ing ios 8.2 and 8.3 hence there isnt yet jailbreak version for those 2 ios, is that correct?

I hate it when Apple rules the playground ... Hopefully talented dev. team will find a solution for us ... Pray ....
