Help/Support clone succeeded but checkout failed theos

[Samollthecamel 6.1k iPad Air 2 10.0.1]

hello, so i was installing theos using @DiDA new way https://iosgods.com/topic/62343-new-2018-how-to-install-theos-sdk-on-your-idevice/

and when i got to the final clone, i get the error:

fatal: unable to checkout working tree

warning: clone succeeded, but checkout failed.

You can inspectwhat was checkout with 'git status'

and retry the checkout with 'git checkout -f HEAD'

it says something that there is no git to check or something

sorry i got out of it to try fix and lost it

are you sure git is installed ?

i have cleared heaps of tweaks yet no space still
