He is the descendant of the Uzumaki clan，the 3rd of Six Paths，the manipulator of Six Paths of Pain，and the leader of Akatsuki. He and Naruto Uzumaki were called the Childs of the Prophecy by Toad Sage. He was picked as the heir of Rinnegan by Madara Uchiha. He was the orphan in Amegakure during the 2nd Ninja World War. He learned Ninjutsu with Konan and Yahiko from Jiraiya. When Yahiko died，he inherited Yahiko's organization and became the 2nd leader of Akatsuki. Later he was touched by Naruto Uzumaki's mystical power and pursued his dream of young age. He used Rinne Rebirth to revive the Konoha people but later died of energy exhaustion. During the 4th Ninja World War，he was revived through dirt reanimation，but he was sealed with the help of Itachi
