Live edit the same .zip file in question. Creating an alternative .zip and renaming the file seems to fail.

Using a GUI (BetterZip for MacOS, WinRar for Windows) allows for the ORIGINAL archive (.imazingapp -> .zip) to be modified. So when you save the changes and rename the file back the signature for the app remains intact.

 

I ran into this error myself, luckily for myself I have some decent diagnostic skills and was able to solve it rather quickly.

 

Edit: For anyone claiming this doesn't work on 11.1.x or higher I would like it noted that I have gotten it working on 11.3 (beta) and assure you that it does in fact work for all current iOS versions (public or beta).

i just want to share how to copy paste,drag dop,edit and overwrite save game without restore in ipad,iphone or ipad all ios.

first install itunes v.12.4 or lower

install itool v 1.8.4.9 or lower

and you good to go.

just open itool and you can drag drop,copy paste and overwrite save game without jailbreak or restore.

note : only hack app is work. not work if you download app from appstore.

Hi @DiDA, it is great of you to post such a great APP for non jail broken device. Archive utility doesn't work. After download several software to try, and I've finally found the app for MAC users.

At STEP 6, instead of downloading winrar, please download B1 archiver  https://b1.org/download-mac  

1.  launch B1 and insert the "postknight.imazingapp" file and replace the hack files, and B1 will add a zip file under "postknight.zip"

2. Rename the .zip into .imazingapp, the restore the app as per the step 7 provided by @DiDA

It works well for me. Having 272,009 gems and 2,400,910 coins lvl 7. ha ha ha ha… I'm so happy
