Help/Support Cydia Impactor : "zip.cpp:577"

[OkGuysLetsDoSomeDancing 2 iPad Air 2 11.0.3]

I'm getting that error from Skulls of The Shogun and Batman The Telltale Series.

it's saying "not a zip archive" but when I try with iFile or Filza it works just fine.

Anyone knows why ?

 

EDIT: Actually it was the source,I tried with another link and it worked (I didn't got the episodes but the application was there).

Zip .cpp:577 is the same as zip.cpp:331

The error 311/577 appeares because the IPA file was not properly packaged Or you didn’t download it properly.

An IPA file is just a zip archive which contains all the contents of the app in a specific order.

If that zip was not archived properly or you didn’t download it completely then Cydia impactor will not be able to extract it and that is why it spits out this error.

To fix this issue, simply download the IPA file again and make sure that it has completely downloaded before proceeding.

If the error is still showing, try finding the IPA from some other source.

I don't think it's possible to not completely download a file

it wouldn't even appear in the downloads folder

also I downloaded it from appcake

It is 100% possible for the download to be interrupted and cause the file to be corrupt, this will render the file usless and it will still appear in your download folder. 

Like you found out lol, I told you to redownload the IPA, you did and it worked. ?

Obviously the file was corrupt, it could not be the source as you already downloaded it from the source and transferred the IPA to your device.

The IPA was currupt, broken.

I was having the exact similar solution and got it solved from here: cydia impactor 557 error
