Cydia Impactor basically just signs the app with your Apple ID allowing you to run it on your device (for 7 days) until the certificate expires.

So, me hooking it up to my phone and just pressing start would be wrong then, correct? I would have to attach a file to it or something if the sorts, then use the impactor? And would I also need the original app on there or off?

You drag the IPA file onto the window.

Well luckily I was following the topic so I saw your reply.

Back again now that I've tried dragging the file on the impactor window. It keeps giving me the lockdown error. I read on the forum Dida provided and it said there's another program running, but I closed anything I had open so that impactor was the only thing left. Would you happen to know what I'm doing wrong? Also, when I downloaded an ipa from this site, it was a white file instead of the iTunes looking file. (Sorry I'm so clueless..)
