It does work 🤗. Do note, occasionally, the app would crash after scanning a document. Then you just close it via double tap home button or in switching screen and reopen the app.

Yes, that's correct. Developers of the app fixed the loophole/bug on the server side, so nothing much that can be done from client/app side.
