Disable god mode and make sure you don’t have your shoes on too and restart your game. If the mercenaries are still at your base, it will freeze for a moment but then it’ll run normally after. That’s what happened to me. If you have your shoes on, just disable everything in the mod menu and wait to die off thirst and hunger.
