Yes the last day on earth shows up in cydia, I just installed localiapstore and usually it shows up in my settings and now it hasn’t. This means the jailbreak isn’t working right? How do I fix this?

If you're opening up Cydia, then you're still jailbroken. Maybe something got messed up with the jailbreak though. While really steady, Electra still isn't perfect.

Have you tried resprining your phone?

If a respring doesn't work, maybe you should restart your phone and reactivate Electra. If you do, don't forget to turn off find my iPhone, disable Siri and put on airplane mode before rejailbreaking with electra.

Find my iPhone is on, is that really going to stop the tweaks from working?

No no no...I meant to turn it off before you rejailbreak it with Electra. Once the jailbreak is successful, you can turn it back on.

You certainly don't have to rejailbreak your phone. I'm just saying that it sounds like something might be messed up with it. Have you tried respringing? Not turning off your phone (slide to turn off), but just respringing it?

I never turned it off before I jailbroke it the first time, could that be the problem?

Whenever my phone (or my wife or kid's phones) start acting janky, the first thing I do is turn it fully off, wait a couple minutes and turn it back on. Since you're jailbroken, however, this will get rid of your jailbreak...meaning your phone won't be jailbroken again. In order to rejailbreak it, you would have to disable Find My iPhone and Siri, put it on airplane mode, then run Electra again. Voila - you're jailbroken again. You can then turn Find My iPhone and Siri back on.

The first step however, is to try respringing your device. This is kind of like a soft reset that keeps your jailbreak and everything else intact. It what your phone does after you install or update most Cydia tweaks and apps. If you haven't done so already, I recommend installing PullToRespring from the BigBoss repo. Makes respringing a snap. Once installed, all you have to do is go into Settings and pull down. Just like magic, your phone restrings. Try this first and see if your tweaks like localiapstore work again.

I have tried respring and restarting the jailbreak so Unfortunately I think there is a problem with my phone and the way it jailbroke I will probably have to wipe my phone and try to re jailbreak. I assume you are using Electra for this mod and it’s working just fine?

I downloaded pull to respring and like magic it worked so what does this mean for the last day on earth tweak and why is it not working for me?

Damn. I would necessarily wipe my phone. Maybe try deleting Electra and downloading it fresh? Maybe a couple bits of data got scrambled when you were downloading Electra??

Yep, using Electra since it was released and have no issues with this hack.
