Dang, I updated it hoping the new game version and new hack would get everything working.  Unfortunately, now nothing works, not even the duplicate item on split, and the game crashes if I try to load into a new area with any of the cheats activated.

I feel your pain. For me the 1.8.4 hack doesn’t work either. I uninstalled both hack and game and started fresh but no luck either.
