It's a white square because it's not avalible in game, you should not craft this item, simply delete it from your backpack and do not craft it again until it is avalible. 

There is no multiplayer, chat or clans in the game as of yet and this is what the radio tower is for, this is why you can not use it. 

I am level 77 and still no radio tower.

If it was a weapon like the revolver or the dragonuv and you put it in hand, you will not load the game, you have to start a game from 0 or wait for that weapon officially to see if your game works.

After you put your password in, authorize it for the game if you haven’t already done so. 

If that doesn’t work, try resetting your iosgods password. Hope that helps
