Do you keep GM mode on all the time? If yes, that is the problem. After you turn it on and and equip your clothes (not the shoes), turn it off and you will still be invincible.

Nope when I died to get it back to normal I had it off and went to the fair and soon as I try to talk to someone game just freezes. I’ll give it another shot to see but this issue is annoying.

Unfortunately, I froze my own game because I thought it was a good idea to keep splitting my food until I had about 11k stacked and dumped it into the dog's bin, with the concept of never having to feed them again.

I'm sure It's just going through the animation of transferring the food 11 thousand times, so until it is done, I'm sure my game will go back to normal.

Edit: Killing yourself causes the freezing to stop for anyone that might have the same issue.
