maybe your inventory is full, you have to create 1 normal app and 1 mob app to play side by side

No my inventory isn’t full and I tried using both a normal install and one with mods and it won’t let me put thing into the storage by the headquarters in the settlement??

ok , I upgraded the inventory in the settlement (my current inventory is lvl 3 although I haven't produced the products to upgrade it yet), and the game blocked me from participating in the settlement (I'm back in now. at version 1.20.6) . I don't quite understand your case.

@Rusiancutequa The storage place right next to the headquarters in the settlement. It won’t let me place Items in that storage.

@jsniperx90, that place is for the rewards of exepeditions you do at the Settlement, you can't put objects in there.
