It's increasing for me when buying energy (and skipping raider quests). Not sure why it's not working for you.

If you have only 2 coins left, your only option is to uninstall, reinstall the game from the App Store and buy coins with real $$, then reinstall the hacked game again. Try skipping raider quests to see if that's working for you.
