Force close your game and restart it, when it loads up you should be on map screen. Select a different location and run to it and back to your home base,you should be without the picked up item.

Hey I know that’s very frustrating but you can either put the picked item on the bike or to the recycler it help me a lot. And if you don’t you can exit you home you’ll be in the main map kill the app and start it again and don’t go directly to your home change location enter there and now you can head back home. Hope it’ll help you
