Can anyone help me with converting STR.W to hex?

Now that I got LLDB working, I went on to hack MC4. I got an offset for ammo, which I don't think I will make public for a while if this works. I set tons of breakpoints to see if this is the correct offset and I did "register read" in LLDB tons of times, and sure enough, whenever I changed my weapon clip's count by shooting, R10 would always change to the value of my clip in hex.

It is a STR.W R10, [R6, #0x840].

Obviously this can be changed to STR.W R7, [R6, #0x840] to make ammo infinite, but for some reason the ASM to hex converters don't support the ".W" suffix. So if anyone can tell me how to convert STR.W R7, [R6, #0x840] to hex without it showing up in IDA as just a STR, it will be greatly appreciated :) Thanks!

@@shmoo,

The R10 register is usually reporesented as 'a' in hex, change that to '7' to make it R7 :)

Thanks, I'll keep that handy, most of Gameloft's STR's are STR.W's :) Updated by Guest
