I am completely fine with that except that iTunes cant 'find' a device.

Boot into Recovery Mode or DFU mode. Search the forum for a how-to

Boot into Recovery Mode or DFU mode. Search the forum for a how-to

DFU mode then hit Restore.

Appearently resetting with Jailbreak will mess up your device, same reason you cant update with jailbreak

I agree with Erasing All Content & Settings on jaolbroken devices can mess your device ending you in boot loop but updating your device via iTunes is all good.
