does this actually work with an in-game menu?

It loads with two iPad pros' and then there is no menu.

am I missing something?

the  hack in cydia is for ver. 1.0, not 1.90

Clarification: I was able to install the hack on two iPad's, but after booting the game, nothing is functioning;

doesn't work for me after many installs of both game and hack
