Help/Support How is my friend doing this???

So my friend keeps sending these blank iMessage texts (look at pictures). It's not an iMessage bug cause he can do it as many times as he wants. Specifically what happens is that I get the notification, it makes he sound and everything but the notification is blank, and when I open it, it doesn't show that he sent anything! I'm not sure how he does it. He doesn't wanna tell me and it's really pushing my buttons. Do you guys know how he does it ?

In the second picture showing our conversation, he is doing his little trick but it doesn't show that he is sending messages, how can this be??

Hey, thanks for the reply! However that piece of text sends a blank chat bubble in the chat log. What my friend does, it doesn't show anything Our conversation.

Not sure how notification looks but you can press space bar once and hit send and it'll send text with just blank space.

Edit: never mind didn't see u said there's no chat bubble. Ur notification picture looked like maybe a single blank space tho.
