I jailbreak my iPhone 6s iOS 10.2 today and everything went wrong when I unjailbreak my device with the tutorial I watched on youtube. I followed every steps given but failed. Cydia and tweaks are there. I tried rejailbreak and open cydia, i got error like DKPG locked and file not found or something similar. so i searched for the solution and i got one but it requires Filza, since i got filza installed and couldnt be removed, i could not proceed to the next step. Please, someone help me with this. I tried deleting everything with Find My iPhone and everything but none is working. Please help me. I wanted to get rid of the cydia and tweaks and everything related to jailbreak.

On an iPhone 6s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

  • Make sure that you're using the latest version of iTunes.
  • Connect your device to your computer using the cable that came with your device. You should see this message: "There's a problem with the iPhone [your device name] that requires it to be updated or restored."
  • Click Update (not Restore) to reinstall iOS and keep your personal data.

Hold down the power and home button on your phone for 30 odd seconds I think, then a itunes symbol should pop up on your phone.

Connect your phone to computer.

Go into itunes in computer

Click restore & update.

Pretty simple here on out, but you won't be able to jailbreak again until the next one comes out.

Alright, I will try and report. This method will update my phone to the latest iOS, right? Is there any way which I can remain on iOS 10.2?

I will report soon. Thank you.

EDIT: I dont see the pop out message. everytime i power off my device and press home+power button, it just turn on the same. so, I just proceed with the Update.

FINAL EDIT: Thank you for the method! Finally i get rid of the jailbreak stuffs! Is that possible if I restore the backup I made before I jailbreak my device (iOS 10.2) since Apple has stop signing iOS 10.2?

Did you get rid of iOS 10.2? If you do it through iTunes then you'll have to update to the latest version. What exactly did you do to your device when you were trying to "remove the jailbreak" to cause the issue? Maybe there is something you can do to make Cydia work.

I had already upgraded to the latest firmware. I wanted to know is it possible to restore my iOS 10.2 backup?

What do you mean "iOS 10.2 backup"? Do you mean restore your apps and settings? Yes. But you cannot restore the iOS version, the OS is not stored in the backup only your data.

The only way to go back versions is if you have saved the blobs which allows the update process to go through.

You can only save blobs for signed iOS versions at the time you save the blobs, so try to save your blobs for every future iOS version just incase it comes in use.

Well the point of an iTunes Backup is to save your stuff, it would be pointless to save the OS then it would be many times bigger, the OS is already on the phone.

So you saved your blobs a few months ago for iOS 10.2?
