Hi i tried to do the same something in the android version another DIY hack that one uses the XOR key and i tried in the ios version and WORKS!!

I did it with game player you go to the diamond store, then items (sorry if that not what the menu says i have the game in spanish) and there find the 800 diamond gold bag

then seach for this in dword: -1355843339 , it will find only one value then change to 1335827045 and then try to buy then it will say -50000 and you will get the diamonds  or at least it should i cant know because i already have bugged my diamonds doing the other hack bad   so good luck.
