Help/Support Trying to SSH into my device.

Hey, I'm trying to SSH into my device but when I try to run the command ssh root@(my phone's IP) It just loads forever. Can anyone help me out?

Connect PC to idevice with usb

I've done that, also it on a mac if that means anything?

Install iFunBox and open a USB port, then SSH using 127.0.0.1

Im not sure if IFunBox can open a USB port, i went on this tutorial 

and it says "go into the quick toolbox tab" but theres no tab on mac
