iPhone 5 restore help?

    So I jailbroke my iphone 5 8.1.1 and its been working fine. Then a couple days ago I reset my iphone (I went to settings - general - reset - reset all content) after that I waited for 3 hours and I got stuck with apple logo and the loading bar. I waited for a couple hours again and nothing happened. I tried to use recovery mode with itunes and tried to restore and update it and it didnt work, Im still stuck with the apple logo. Has anyone had this problem? If anyone knows, pls help?

    Try holding down the Power+Home Button for 10 sec then leave the power button. IT should hopefully work.

    You're not supposed to "Reset All Settings" on a Jailbroken iPhone. It'll cause issues as you can see.

     

    You can try Semi-Restore or you'll have to do a full restore via iTunes now.

    I did that already and all the DFU stuff with iTunes but still stuck

    You're not supposed to "Reset All Settings" on a Jailbroken iPhone. It'll cause issues as you can see.

     

    You can try Semi-Restore or you'll have to do a full restore via iTunes now.

    I didnt know that and I did a full restore with itunes and nothing happened

    If your iPhone is stuck in Recovery Mode, RecoveryTool fix should restore your iPhone to the factory settings, but a backup should have been created automatically when the OS was updated so you will have the option to restore from backup once the repair is made.

     

     

     

     

    If iTunes is open, exit iTunes

     

     

    Disconnect iPhone from computer USB

     

     

    Click Start menu on desktop

     

     

    Go to Control Panel

     

     

    Go to Programs

     

     

    Go to Programs and Features

     

     

    Select Apple Mobile Device Support and click repair

     

     

    Connect iPhone to computer USB (device should install automatically)

     

     

    Open iTunes

     

     

    When prompted, click restore iPhone

     

     

    OS should install now and restore factory settings

     

     

     

     

     

    iPhone will automatically restart when OS is successfully installed, and you will have the option to setup as new or restore from backup.  If you wish to keep your files and settings, click restore from backup and wait until your iPhone is fully synced.  If there are any discrepancies in your contacts or whatever, you will have the option to choose the correct contact to sync now or sync later.  Once your iPhone is fully synced, follow the prompts on the iPhone and that's it!  Now the next step will be figuring out how to use your iPhone with the fancy new OS!

        Installation Instructions:
        STEP 1: Download the .deb Cydia hack file from the link above. Use Safari/Google Chrome or other iOS browsers to download.
        STEP 2: Once the file has downloaded, tap on it and then you will be prompted on whether you want to open the deb with iGameGod or copy it to Filza.
        STEP 3: If necessary, tap on the downloaded file, and then, you will need to press 'Install' from the options on your screen.
        STEP 4: Let iGameGod/Filza finish the cheat installation. Make sure it successfully installs, otherwise see the note below.
        STEP 5: If the hack is a Mod Menu — which is usually the case nowadays — the cheat features can be toggled in-game. Some cheats have options that can be enabled from your iDevice settings.

        STEP 9: Now go to your Home Screen and open the newly installed app and everything should work fine. You may need to follow further per app instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.

        Installation Instructions:
        STEP 1: Download the .deb Cydia hack file from the link above. Use Safari/Google Chrome or other iOS browsers to download.
        STEP 2: Once the file has downloaded, tap on it and then you will be prompted on whether you want to open the deb with iGameGod or copy it to Filza.
        STEP 3: If necessary, tap on the downloaded file, and then, you will need to press 'Install' from the options on your screen.
        STEP 4: Let iGameGod/Filza finish the cheat installation. Make sure it successfully installs, otherwise see the note below.
        STEP 5: If the hack is a Mod Menu — which is usually the case nowadays — the cheat features can be toggled in-game. Some cheats have options that can be enabled from your iDevice settings.
        STEP 6: Turn on the features you want and play the game. You may need to follow further instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.
