On iOS 9 here iPad Air 2 

game loaded fine and then after few minutes a game error would pop up and the game will crash and quit 

even after the usual troubleshooting reboot etc still the same but the dutton it will start usually 3 minutes in the game

A temp solution for me eventhough it works like 80% is to lower the in game graphic quality to low and stop any unesaccary background process 

 

oh and respring after each crash helps
