I get both your points here. My regular understanding of buying or making a purchase is giving money to someone who HAS a product in stock to sell. In this case however, @Clickforlife is requesting a product that isn't available yet. Nobody has managed to hack the game so far. A 50$ donation for a product in the making is an encouraging side effect. See it as some kind of "reward". Furthermore, if a hack is eventually published here on iOSGods for anyone to download, a donation remains a donation.
