I search the amount of coins i have then tap on RCT touch and it justs says search initial complete in the the bigger box at the bottom and does nothing else, looked back at it and the total result count is showing 0 when i type in the amount of coins i have

I had the same problem. After several tests I found that you need to have below 1 million coins for the values to show up. But I recommend you go down to around 300,000 coins, search the value, buy or sell something and then re-search the new amount of coins. That's the amount you'll want to edit.
