iOS 10.2 SSH issues with dropbear

    Hi friends,

    I'm having a problem connecting to my device over SSH right now. Using my jailbroken iPhone 6S (iOS 10.2 with latest yalu 102 beta 7), and I have all tweaks disabled with iCleaner, it does not work with them enabled either.

     

    I have never installed any stashing tweaks on my device this jailbreak or the last. This device is actually a fresh restore from 10.1.1 (I had SSH working on there). I've ssh'd before so I'm pretty sure I'm not typing the commands wrong, maybe I have a broken dropbear? If someone could tell me where to find it & a place to get a fresh one I'd appreciate it. Have Filza installed

     

    THINGS I HAVE TRIED:

     

    from my computer using FileZilla:

     

    - ssh 127.0.0.1 with root & pw

     

    - ssh "192.168.x.x" with root & pw

     

    - sftp & ftp

     

    from my device:

     

    -reinstalling OpenSSL

     

    -never installing OpenSSH

     

    -can confirm it says dropbear is installed when using dpkg -l & dropbear -h

     

    -verifying my login info is correct using term

     

     

    Would appreciate if someone could try to help me with this, my annoying workaround has been dragging debs/files from comp to gdrive to download with filza to filza to install, gives me a headache

    You need to use USB Tunnelling for dropbear to work.

    1. Downloading iFunBox
    2. Conenct your device to the pc
    3. Goto quick tools and select USB tunnelling
    4. Don't press anything as your port will automatically be connected
    5. Once connected use putty and type 127.0.0.1 and leave the port as 21
    6. you should now be able to login :)

     

    iFunBox is usb for opening up the port

        📖 PC Installation Instructions

        STEP 1: Download the pre-hacked .IPA file from the link above to your computer. To download from the iOSGods App, see our iOSGods App IPA Download Tutorial which includes a video example.
        STEP 2: Download Sideloadly and install it on your Windows or Mac.
        STEP 3: Open Sideloadly on your computer, connect your iOS device, and wait until your device name appears in Sideloadly.
        STEP 4: Once your iDevice is recognized, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it into the Sideloadly application.
        STEP 5: Enter your Apple Account email, then press “Start.” You’ll then be asked to enter your password. Go ahead and provide the required information.
        STEP 6: Wait for Sideloadly to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA. If there are issues during installation, please read the note below.
        STEP 7: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles / VPN & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
        STEP 8: Now go to your Home Screen and open the newly installed app and everything should work fine. You may need to follow further per app instructions inside the hack's popup in-game.

        NOTE: iOS/iPadOS 16 and later, you must enable Developer Mode. For free Apple Developer accounts, you will need to repeat this process every 7 days.         STEP 4: Open/Run Cydia Impactor on your computer then connect your iOS Device and wait until your device name shows up on Cydia Impactor.
        STEP 5: Once your iDevice appears, drag the modded .IPA file you downloaded and drop it inside the Cydia Impactor application.
        STEP 6: You will now be asked to enter your iTunes/Apple ID email login & then your password. Go ahead and enter the required information..
        STEP 7: Wait for Cydia Impactor to finish sideloading/installing the hacked IPA.
        STEP 8: Once the installation is complete and you see the app on your Home Screen, you will now need to go to Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management. Once there, tap on the email you entered from step 6, and then tap on 'Trust [email protected]'.
