So I'm looking to jailbreak my phone 6 on iOS 10.1.1 using the Yalu jb. Should I update to iOS 10.2 or stay on iOS 10.1.1 and jb that? If I should upgrade to 10.2, how do i do that without upgrading to 10.2.1? I've heard something about saving sh blobs or something... thanks in advance

Update to iOS 10.2.

People say it's "smoother" than the iOS 10.1.1 JB.

You can save the iOS 10.2 blobs incase you update to a newer firmware so you can downgrade back to iOS 10.2 in the future (if you wish to do so).

Update to iOS 10.2.1 now then downgrade to iOS 10.2 by downloading the iOS 10.2 firmware from ipsw.me.

To update to 10.2, download the iOS firmware from ipsw.me for your device specifically. Then, connect your iDevice to iTunes. SHIFT + LEFT Click "Restore.." or the button next to "Update." Select the firmware you downloaded and wait for a few minutes.

Doesn't that delete your phone files?
