I used two high lvl chars for garen 1.

1. I searched for 4.

2. Killed one mon then searched for 3.

Killed the last and searched for 2 at the victory screen

 

 

I still ended up with lots of values.

 

I tried the same process at faimon easy. I began searching for 7 at the last wave.

After a few tries I ended up no results and I still had two, three monsters on screen.

 

Please advice.

Dont start from the last wave. In the first wave, count the sum, kill one, then new sum. Then follow it till all of them die and you move to the next wave. Count the new sum (your monsters + wave 2 monsters), search that, kill 1 and move on. You get like 12 chances in faimon 1 normal which is more than enough. What you can do is after you do the first search change the top value to 1. Might not work but you can try

 

Lastly, dont search on the victory screen because thats not a correct value. Start a new game if you have to
