Most apple users know, that after a while your charger wears out, and the cord starts to like come off, basically it starts to rip off until you can see the cord, which after a while will break your charger. I'll be telling you a way to extend its life for a while longer.

1. First, go to the store and buy electrical tape. Very cheap.

2. Wrap the electrical tape tightly around the beginning of the cord where it always starts to tear.

3. Enjoy having your charger last for a bit longer.

My charger is like destroyed, the wire is showing but luckily right before it got bad, I put electrical tape and its still working lmao, I might provide a photo.

I agree that this is a really effective method, but there is a much better way. It is much easier to get special heat shrinks that are easier to use, and they also look better than duct tape. You will have no problem installing them only if you have a hair dryer or can handle the lighter with care. Also, you can use two heat shrinks, and between them install a spring from a ballpoint pen. This will increase the operating time of your cable for a long time ... And also the most important advice - use your charger carefully! My charger is from iphone 7plus. It is still in good condition, as it is mainly located at home near the outlet. Although recently there were certain problems with my wife's charger ... We were on vacation and connected her charger to the generator, but for some reason it burned out .... As a result, it turned out that the capacitor in the generator had to be replaced .. I quickly found the capacitor from https://www.hv-caps.com/High_Voltage_Diode/2019/1212/3343.html, but I had to buy a new charger ...

I don't think it will help to extend its life.

Why?  In fact, I advise you to buy a new charger because most likely you will spend more money on its repair. Therefore, in order not to waste time and money, buy a new charger. So that it does not break so quickly I will advise you to buy a portable charger https://desktopsupercharger.com/. I carry it with me always and since I bought a portable charger, my iPhone charging does not die so quickly because I use not only it. I hope this advice will help all owners of iPhones who suffer from the fact that Apple produces such terrible chargers that breaks down after a couple of months.
