Help/Support Connecting device to pc.

Hey guys.

Right now my computer internet is messed up and stuff so if I were to hack using ida I'd need to use my laptop. But the usb ports re broken. So instead of using ifunbox or whatever to transfer the binary back and forth. Could I use like WinSCP or something instead?

if you are not doing any debugging then WinSCP should work.

You can always upload the binary on like Dropbox and download it on your laptop

You are just going to be Hacking the Binary on the Pc then transferring it to your device to test it right?

Yes so basically at my moms the internet doesnt work anymore and thats where my setup is, my only other alternative is laptop at library or my dads. But the usb ports do not work properly on the laptop becsuse I dont use it and its old, so basically I want to upload the binary to my laptop, use ida to hack it with strings or float you know, then test it and then eventually compile it after doing code injection. But I was wondering, since I'm not debugging, can I just use WINSCP to do all the transfering since my laptop cant usb.

Yes, you can use WINSCP to transfer it from your phone to your computer to hack it, and also traffer it from your computer to your iphone to test it. then if it works you can transfer back to your computer to upload to a file hosting sites such as Dropbox when you are going to post it

Thanks so much Patrick! I was pissed when the internet at moms stopped working (another reason is my sisters grades) but now I atleast know an alternative. Even if I have to use a slow laptop
