Help/Support Jailbreak apps still showing

Hi.

 

I did a little factory reset so I no longer have a jailbreak (I think?).

 

However, my Cydia apps such as Moviebox are still showing. They don't work, their icons just show. How do I delete that? It's annoying.

I'm in iOS 9.3.3 if that's any help.

Erase all content and settings. Mainly because I wanted to get rid of everything.

If you want to get rid of everything, you should restore via iTunes.

Restore to factory settings using a computer and iTunes. Only true way of getting rid of jailbreak.

If I restore via iTunes, doesn't it mean the latest iOS will be downloaded? I doubt my iPhone 5s will survive that...

You need to download the latest iOS firmware , you can download it here ipsw.me 

Put your device in DFU mode , Open itunes , press shift + restore icon and navigate to iOS firmware , select it and install

Thing is I'd like to keep my iOS 9.3.3 since I'm worried iOS 10 will harm my iPhone 5s. But there's no way around that, right?

You should've wiped the device w/ Cydia Eraser
