Help/Support When I try to post something

I'm having a problem where I can't edit what I post. Whether it's a thread or reply.

When I start a thread, the box full of the editing features that usually pops-up does not pop up. Same with when I reply.

When I press Preview Post, the entire box containing my text disappears.

When I try to edit a thread or reply, it won't let me save the edit. It gives me an error:TypeError: Cannot read property 'getText' of undefinedAnd it won't even let me space my text. It gets clumped up into one big paragraph.When I enter the Edit interface, I can't press anything. Besides the TypeError, I literally cannot press anything.Please help me out soon, cause I cannot post anything. I have to switch to Firefox, but the loading time on iOSGods for that browser is unbelievably slow.

How can I replicate the error you're getting?

Not really sure how to replicate the error. But I think it's based on the browser.

I've been using Google Chrome to load iOSGods, and now all of a sudden it stopped working. Same on Internet Explorer.

I can load the site on Firefox, but for some reason, it now hangs when I try to load the site.

Can you try the dark skin or the default IPB skin?

nothing wrong with the site, but seems something is messing up on your browser.

what was the last thing you have done before having this problem. I'm thinking something is keep crashing, used to happen to me before.

If I were you, go to settings on chrome and check the plug ins and extensions. and check if any of them had error while updating, if not check the latest update that your browser made it self

run cclean and get all the files you missed then do a fresh install using IE to download chrome.

I assume you have Windows 7

1) Is it possible that windows firewall or other firewall/anti-virus/anti-malware/etc program is blocking the connection for Chrome?

2) Do you have any plugins to Chrome that could be causing the issue (also - plugins may be blocked by #1)?

3) Do you sign in for Chrome to synchronize previous installations?

4) Did you restore the folders from backup for Chrome? (I have had corrupted saved data from Chrome that created this issue - to solve, you may have to rename the folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Chromium\User Data\Default to "Default-SAV").

if these doesnt work try

adding --reduce-gpu-sandbox in chrome shortchuts.

1. I had my anti-virus program on before Google Chrome stopped working, so I don't think that's the cause of the problem.

2. I have no plugins other than the ones pre-installed

3. Chrome was already installed onto my laptop when I first got it

4. I don't think so, but since I'm gonna re-install Chrome, I don't think I'll be backing up anything, cause there's nothing to backup. Also, I made it to C:\Users\\AppData\Local but couldn't find Chromium

The --reduce-gpu-sandbox method is the one I have not tried yet, and I will do that if my problem still persists after re-installing Chrome.
