Hosting a private server:

You would need the source code and need to be able to redirect it. Also creating private servers is copyright infringement. Creating one can create huge legal problems, not to mention they get shut down continually.

The only way it would be safe is if you only shared it with close friends or played it alone, not as fun as a huge MMO server....

Hacking/modding a private server:

With your link it seems you want to create a hack tool for the private server? That might be more possible.

 

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, don't get me wrong. Private servers with actual decent hosts that aren't in it for the money and fairly treat players would be awesome. And one with a hack tool would be fun as hell. It just doesn't look like a profitable undertaking for someone to do. I don't necessarily mean monetarily either; especially with the legal repercussions.
