Help/Support Can't install deb file from appcake.

An error occured while installing com.javitech.bravefrontiercheats 1.2.41.-v3.0.deb (code:512)

 

and i'm using iphone 4s ios 6. Please help!

Finished with result code 512 error usually means that dpkg is locked by another running process on your iPhone. Close Cydia or all of your other running apps and try again.

it doens't work,DiDa. i also receive a message from cydia "dpkg was interrupted,you must manually run 'dpkg -- configure -a' to correct the problem.

i think my problem is bcoz of the iapfree on my phone according to the FAQ 3. " Check if you installed "iAPFree" or "xCon" from Cydia,those tweaks may cause the installation fail.

What happens if you run

 

dpkg -- configure -a

 

In terminal?

Have you got appsync installed?

AppSync is for installing Cracked IPA's, not for .debs.

check these:

 

1. kill Cydia in multi task

2. make sure the DEB has no dependency

3. make sure the DEB is not corrupted

well i can't install .deb from appcake but after downloaded it i can go to ifile: var/mobile/Media/Appcake/download/downloaded and install it.

Yeah but we were tryong to fix why you couldn't install it via AppCake.
