I tried several times but to no avail. I just see the first caltrop being upgraded.

I hope you read through my whole post. The exploit is less than perfect but it will work. Try again using a different set of caltrops and traps.

can you like make a video or something?, I'm really confused how it works.

 

so before I upgrade the caltrop, I have another trap/ambush that is already upgrading? this is before hitting the instant upgrade by using crowns.
