You can run Windows using Parallels for Mac and then use PP/Pangu . It will work completely Fine

I jailbreak my iDevice weekly with my macbook pro. I'm using Cydia Impactor with the english Pangu Jailbreak (NvwaStone_1.1.ipa).

IDK what the support details are for an iPadAir2 on 8.4 FW, but if it IS a supported method of jailbreaking its a sure fire way to jailbreak on OSX.
