    This is also a reply to chiodos:

     

    Once I modified the backup via ibackupbot I tried to use the restore function and got stuck with error code -1 so I tried to use the restore function in itunes (next to backup option used in an earlier step) and it worked ^_^ Never got the restore function working via ibackupbot.

     

    Also if you have already created a channel name in your own saved game you can just uninstall then reinstall the app (before step 1) then following your instructions I was able to use the custom save game and make it my own. Did it  about 2-3 times just to verify and it worked every time ^_^
