    Requested features: Maybe a bit different to the normal requests here, but with the recent update to the app it now does not allow the user to use aftermarket batteries in their drone. 

    Is there a way to remove this restriction?

    Jailbroken or Non-Jailbroken: Jailbroken, but both if possible

    Well maybe, I am checking it in Flex right now but it's a little bit weird cuz I can't test it since I haven't got a drone. So I can make a quick patch but u will have to check it (maybe even 3-4 times if it won't work)

    yer, the problem also is i cant "check" until my battery arrives.

    i just read on a drone forum that its a new issue, just wanted to be prepared for when it arrives :)

    was just hoping someone could find a for sure way by editing something in notepad or something.

    But will definately give your flex tweak a go (when i can) and appreciate whatever you can do for me :)

    Ok, then pm me when u will be able to check it. And it would be much easier if u install flex so I won't have to compile patches (cuz I am not sure if I've found the right functions.)

    P3 battery stands for Phantom 3 battery.

     

    I will try to get a screen shot.

    the warning it gives is "Non-DJI Intelligent Battery Detected. Aircraft flight prohibited"
