    I accidentally deleted the top line of code in my /bin/sh file. Is there anyway I can get it back?

    MTerminal doesn't work anymore.

    i permanently deleted it with iFile.

    okay so I didn't delete it. I just deleted the very first line of text/code. I don't know how to fix it.

    Isn't /bin/sh a symbolic link which leads to Bash?

    Did you delete the symbolic link or did you delete "bash" which is also inside the same folder.

    I believe I deleted the symbolic link but also deleted a line of text in sh. I didn't delete bash.

    i think I fixed it. I copied "bash" then created a link and renamed it to sh. Did that do the trick? Because MTerminal is working again.

    Just create a new symlink named sh that points to the bash file. :)

     

    Don't rename the bash file otherwise some other stuff may not work.
