Mod [Patcher] DomiNations Global v4.460.461 - Currency Freezer!

Some tips for maximising this hack (if you haven't found out already):

 

1) Roads, Library Research, Wonders, Blacksmith Research and Clearing forests can be 'Crowned' (rushed using crowns, if you have enough)

University Research, Traps, Economic Buildings and most other things can't be crowned. ***

As of this update (v 4.460.461) I've been having trouble clearing forests.

2) Retraining (troops, tactics, generals, and mercenaries) can also be crowned anytime - even using the retrain option. Self-explanatory

3) All goods shipments can be crowned (for Mills, Markets, Refinery and Storehouse). Buy as many shipments of everything and anything you want, but this is the slow method of getting gold/food/oil. See tip 4 for a faster method. That said, this is the only method I've been able to get all the Trade Goods I need for blessings (some blessings need 8 units of certain goods). You can buy and open more trade goods shipments than your storage can hold, it will still add to your totals.

4) Not enough food/gold/oil to start an upgrade? Although you can't fill your Mills/Markets/Refinery directly from the crown menu, there's a workaround to fill your resources.

Start an upgrade with available resources, then cancel immediately for a refund. Repeat till you have enough. Can also use the vault (was useful in Enlightenment age when there weren't many oil buildings and I needed the oil to build the factory)

e.g. I'm lacking gold to upgrade City Centre. So I start upgrading my farms or some defensive building (with the patcher applied, it shouldn't deduct gold), then cancel immediately for a full refund. Withdrawing gold immediately from the vault is likely faster (Level 1 is 400k food/gold without any research), but that depends on your current balance and the level of your buildings. Note that the Vault will only let you withdraw your deposit ONLY IF your withdrawal doesn't bring your food/gold/oil balance over the limit.

5) ***Some longer upgrades may be crowned

Your mileage may vary with this one. I've found that when there's about 1/3 time left for City Centre upgrades, I could crown the upgrade (only tested for Gunpowder to Enlightenment age, and Enlightenment to Industrial age). @Kensheto mentioned that some upgrades that are about halfway done can be crowned, so I guess it depends on some unknown variable(s).

I'm posting this as a form of appreciation for Batto's & Dida's hard work in keeping this patcher working - sharing experiences & info will help everyone use the hack more effectively, as well as entice new people to try DomiNations out (personally, I started playing because I was tempted by the patcher)

On a side note, I also hope that in seeing how much we enjoy this patcher they may, one day, make a version of this hack free again.

Totally agreed to your review. Same experionce for me also... Looking forward this hack with more features. University rush build hack is the most important.
