Help/Support Unable to install or uninstall anything (Apps/major tweaks)

I accidently installed the wrong appsync, due to the foulness that is the repo of hackyouriphone.

Problem is: I'm out of town atm and won't be able to access my computer for another week. I have ifilza with a working terminal. I've tried searching for remains of the appsync with it, but I can't find anything. I'm able to install minor tweaks through debs (not through cydia, because it blatantly freezes) and that's about it.

 

Is there anyone that could help me find a solution that doesn't require a computer? Otherwise I hope I can still somehow restore my iPhone once I get home...

Didn't install PPSync, but this version: http://repo.hackyouriphone.org/appsync31.html. Which apparently is for ios 3.1 and not 9.3.3.

 

Forgo the package mentioned in the post (my bad, the effects he describes are the same ones I'm currently experiencing.) My cydia just keeps hanging on the last "loading" and I can only get it out of it with a hard reset.

 

Already installed the Appsync from angel's repo through the deb file from her site. Didn't stop the problem.

Probably the postinst that AppSync has might have changed something it shouldn't on newer iOS versions.

I'm afraid I don't atm. I'll look into it when I get back at my hotel. All I know is that I installed it from the hackyouriphone repo. (Or insanely, but I reckon the two are practically the same)

Even though the installation gets stuck, does the tweak actually install or does it fail?

It doesn't if it's a tweak like a small mod for a game (no app icon), but it does if it needs an app icon (icleaner for example). I can however find the files installed through ifilza, but can't access it whatsoever (not even with "open" from the cydia repo)

dpkg -r com.xxx.xxx

you Have terminal so run this command 

dpkg -r com.xxx.xxx

 

com.xxx.xx (The package ID from where you installed)

That doesn't work, because I've already uninstalled/deleted it.

 

(Just to be sure I checked just now, but I got the message that it isn't installed)
