tried it, no dice.

@@DiDA Is the problem perhaps because of crack detection since just searching crack had around 20-30 entries? should i NOP them all?

gdb no, lldb yes.

 

GDB doesn't support x64 binaries unfortunately.

So i can use original binary with lldb? and then use mshook to hook into offset without cracking/thinning binary?

Yes, but since your device is x64 then you'd only be debugging 64-bit portion of the binary. Which should be okay.
