General [Poll] Should admins and mods send PMs when topics are closed/deleted?

Not really. It would waste all of our (staff time) and I'm sure that they already post the comment of why it's locked etc.

Also, most of the topics would be locked, because it's outdated, duplicated, stealing credits or changed passwords. So you expect us to fill out it for each topics that we have to lock?

Just consider that we have maybe 10 staff vs 380,822 members. With total posts of 1,148,778 so maybe around hundreds thousand threads.

Most of the reasons are..

1) Spambot

2) People changed passwords for accounts

3) Hack is outdated, yet others still post saying that it's not working BUT nobody reports it.

4) Didn't use the search bar to see if it already posted.

5) Repost the thread without credits or leeching

6) Posting cheats that he/she didn't make.

7) Or just simply useless topic

What if they starting to pick a fight with staff like "Well this x person didn't give credits; I found it first; mine is much better that that member"

I'm sure that they (staff) would get fed up and quit being staff. Also, staff rank is not easy to get

I locked that one because there was new one already. The other cheats section already messed up with these "update" and duplicate.

@@Amuyea And you guys wonder why there are so many Pokemon GO topics. You guys don't give us a chance to update our topics. Instead you let people post a new topic about EVERY SINGLE UPDATE. These bots have new versions that come out more than once EVERY SINGLE DAY. Half of the time, these new versions don't even have any new features! If you would give us the chance to let us update our topics, there wouldn't be so many of them.

You are saying that members blaming us for locking? Ok, this is internet; we don't have any control over members' posting and they only want the reputation and thanks. Have you seen the topics' thanks count? Those kinds are easy to have 100+ thanks. For example, my topic about bot for mac https://iosgods.com/topic/33072-updated-with-new-api-pokemon-go-bot-for-mac/ with whopping 1k+ thanks for 1 week

I think I confront 1 of those members and their reply was "I'm doing this just to make it easy for members to search, so it will look neat and new without many pages." (Not exact wording, but you understand what I meant)

Even better, just end all Pokemon Go Bots and we wouldn't have this discussion? #AntiPokemonGoBotThreads

Let say this x member who posts SO MANY threads in account section or cheats. Every of their thread is outdated. So, we have to send PM for every topic. Waste of f***ing time

It don't have to be PM in my opinion, just like when you delete a post (cuz I know staff does post comments of reason why it's locked), there should be a box of list and tick or select the reason why, like @Amuyea have it mentioned. The 1-9
