Tried the hack on iOS 9.3.3, no luck.

There was no error in the installation and did the procedure as instructed. No pop ups when opening the game (the usual credit pop ups of iosgods .debs), tried setting permissions to 777 before installing too..

Could have been a great hack, but nonetheless, thank you!
