Yeah, just close the terminal.

Theres difference between " and “.  When you put your account, it changes and becomes “. You have to replace them. They must be  "  .

For those of you with the no JSON file issues.  Macs are really frustrating with the naming.  Use an online tool to edit and rename the JSON.  Just backspacing on the imac will not always work.  The file extensions don't always save that way properly.  Use an editor to do it.
