Help/Support Restore from Backup after Jailbreak 9.3.3

Hi all

 

I have an iPad Air running iOS 8.1.3 and it is jailbreaked.

 

I backed it up through iTunes and in order to use that backup to restore my data on my new iPad Pro which I jailbreak it on 9.3.3

 

But unfortunately every time I try to restore it, I get that iTunes error "Backup corrupted or incompatible"!!

 

I checked in in many sites that there should be no problem restoring data from older iOS to a newer iOS version but not the other way.

 

I deleted the backup that is on my PC and create it again but still same error??!!

 

Its impossible to use my new iPad Pro without my games data, progress and personal data

Find your ipsw which you have restored and try to restore on another pc.

your just trying to get your game data if so just use a backup editor and extract your game files and place it on to your ipad manually

and it could fail because you backed up your device with all cydia tweaks and add ons try removing them from your original device and backup

Hi bro, i thought about Cydia tweaks thing, but i don't know which tweak that is might causing that problem.

If I tried to disable all those tweaks by "holding the volume up button while restarting the iPad" do you think that will work?? Or I need to remove them totally??

if you send my your backup file and a list of what you want extracted i could take what data you want out other wise yes remove all the tweaks

Now I got one proposal to restore through iCloud but unfortunately to do it I have to erase all my data on my iPad Pro and restore it from Cloud which will make me lose my jailbreak on my new iPad Pro

 

I really don't know what to do!!

 

Any ideas or suggestions dude?

Try using AnyTrans to backup.

 

Use iBackupBot/AnyTrans to browse through your backups.
