Same thing just happened to me...LOL. 

I will be forever industrial age ?

It will automatically get fixed when you will reach to global. Happened with one of my friend. But make sure one thing if your workers doing TC upgrade don't cancel that.

I just did the same thing.... The workers were sent back to me already. No workers are working at TC upgrade, what to do ? Am I staying at industrial age forever ?
