I can't view App Cache on iFunBox/iExplorer (I have iOS 9.1). I need a workaround

Hi.

I got a new iPad (Air) a few months ago on iOS 9.1. I can't view the App Cache of apps of the iPad on iFunBox or iExplorer. I need to extract PDFs and eBooks from my apps.

I'm aware Apple started locking down the Apps folder (bastards) and making it inaccessible by iOS 8.3 onwards. Is there any other way to view the directory and grab the files I need?

Last time I checked, Apple File Conduit "2" only worked until iOS 9.0.2. I am not too sure about iTools. How does iTools compare to iFunbox and i Explorer? Do I need it in conjunction with Apple File Conduit "2"? I'm lost here.

Is it possible to extract files from the .ipa file from the app backup? I need to go through the app cache and memory to look for my files. Damn Apple makes it hard.
