I have tested since the newest update and it DOES work. As I said I didn't make this, just found it and thought it was cool that it worked and wanted to share.

I will tell you right now this will not work.  It's all just visuals.  Everything in PGO is server sided, so the actual effect won't be on you and if you can see it circling around you.
